End-to-end encrypted · Free during beta

Your bookmark bar, anywhere you log in.

Tubar is the browser-bar UI Chrome quietly retired — folders, custom colors, drag-to-reorder — backed by a cloud that can’t read your bookmarks. Zero-knowledge encryption by default, bring-your-own-key as a premium upgrade.

Three steps to your bookmark bar.

  1. Install the extension. Grab the latest build from tubar-releases, unzip it, then open chrome://extensions, turn on Developer mode, and click Load unpacked — pick the unzipped folder. (Chrome Web Store listing is pending review.)
  2. Add this account. Click the extension icon, open the account dropdown, choose Add account…, set base URL to , paste the token above.
  3. Bring your bookmarks. Already on raindrop.io? Open the extension Options page → Import from raindrop.io. Everything — collections, tags, notes, toolbar config — comes across with IDs remapped automatically.

The cloud holds it. It can’t read it.

Every title, URL, note, and tag is encrypted on your device before it ever leaves. We store ciphertext we can’t open — nothing watches what you save: we don’t track your bookmarks, read your contents, or sell your data. Your bar syncs everywhere you log in; the contents stay yours alone.
